I am selling what I believe is an original radiator from from a 65 fj45. It is heavy! Looks serviceable for someone trying to keep an all original look. The nipple where the over flow coolant tank is broken off and missing, so that would need repaired.

If someone sees that this is not original please chime in. I have had several other earlier radiators and this looks the same.

Asking 50.00 plus shipping

too bad it doesn't have the emblem in the center of the top tank.

I what year is the round emblem on top period correct for? I have another with the emblem but I am holding on to it for a project I am working on.

what emblem? I"m getting ready to recycle a 64 FJ45 radiator but if it has a value to someone i'll grab it out of the pile.

Don't recycle it if it's rebuildable. The early radiators are way better than new stuff.

@65swb45 might know, we were talking about them over a year ago, he had 1 for sale and I found 1 in my stash.
Not sure if it is year specific.
I've got a pic of mine but not on this computer.

Whether or not the emblem is present, the integrated steel plate below the lower tank and the horizontal fins that stick out past the coolant tubes are both indicators of an early radiator.

I was actually able to track down a brand new stagger-core horizontal-fin core to have put to my OE tanks when I did my shortbed resto in 1993. No idea if something like that could be done now.

Alright. I'll grab it from the pile. You all are a bad influence

maybe @Living in the Past has info on the emblem, if it was a year thing or something else.

Just for clearify. This is a picture of the emblem I am asking about. It is not on the radiator that is for sale.

correct, that is the 1 I was referring to, still don't know why some have it and some don't????

Another piece of trivia for someone looking to build up an early radiator with period-correct tanks: the upper and lower tanks are different widths from front to back.

I think we may have just heard from a potential new Jeopardy contestant ! But only if he has those measurements down for memory.
