I have a 62, shortbed, non- removable hardtop, two small back window.

Now the bad news - trans, transfer and drive lines stolen and no engine, no tailgate. Body has some rust, definitely worth fixing - needs to be restored.

I have had this truck for close to thirty years and plan was to always to restore but once parts got stole it made things harder. I know I will never get the time to give this rig what it needs. Times and priorities change.

I will post pictures soon, thinking around $5000,00

What do you guys think? Thanks

I'd say overpriced, without pics it hard to say, but from your description, whitey is fairly close.

Post up the VIN/Frame number so we can put it on the list of known fixed hard tops.

If it was clean clean it might be worth a bit more than $2K without a drive train, especially in the midwest/ east coast where they are harder to find. I have a complete drive train from a 78, but I already have too many SWB FHT 45s.

Starting at 5 sounds reasonable.. Advertise and be prepared to deal with a lot of tire kickers or list lower and sell it faster.. Good luck and congrats on being honest with yourself and moving on. I hope the next owner enjoys it and appreciates you selling it to them!!
