hello everybody.

I'm new in this forum . i just get this rig (FJ43 78 gasoline F2 engine) and need some info:
- color code for my rig and were I can get it (OEM).
- Soft top part number (I need it with rear doors).
- power steering (OEM). wath parts need for change it?

I see you found Ih8mud. Thank you for inquiring and trying to help find a ride with my rig to the states. I believe he is in Bogota though not here in the US. I may be incorrect though and it would be great to share a container.

Very very nice FJ43. You are going to have a good time. I've seen a couple of rigs here in the US that were imported that had aftermarket tops but they found them in Colombia. I'm sure someone like DISTOYOTA would be able to point you in the right direction.

In regards to the AC, as with my FJ 43 you probably don't have a heater either. Vintage Air in the US sells complete retrofit kits for around $800 US if I remember correctly. It has everything you need to install a heater/AC Combo.

I'm looking forward to seeing your build/resto.

OCDbeetle also makes soft tops. He said he could custom make one for me. He is in SC which was closer to me. Regarding the bows though?

Also I would love to share some shipping with you. I've been working on trying to get my FJ43 here for over a year. Long Story. E-mail Sander (he replies very quick) and he will qive you a quote. Very honest guy and was referred to me by a freind local that helped start our local NC chapter.

You can shoot me an e-mail as well and we can work out all of the specifics. I'm moving to AL in 3 weeks but the boat would be landing in TX so a lot closer to you.

Very very good soft tops down here you just have to look hard enough , there are a lot of "artist" that will do an excellent job . finding the original bows can be a very difficult job but it can be done.
