After quite a bit of searching, I didn’t find exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price for a lock box.
Being in Texas and generally carrying, there are times where you just have to leave it in the car.

Found this JK box, only $85. Included a pic from amazon. Did not like the mounting system, was all external, so I drilled out the rivets and took the top off and drawer out. Drilled four holes in the base and put four rivet nuts in the floor for the bolts. Now, you either have to take the seat outdrill the rivets or break the lock to get to the contents.
Had to move the jack mount out board, actually like it where it is and put three rivet nuts in for that.
Can’t even see the box from outside the truck.
Riveted the top back on the lock box and a pretty clean install.
Fairly cheap too.

Does look like a clean set up. Wouldn't it have been possible to mark the floor where the box goes. Remove the drawer and then drill the bottom. Make a pattern of the bottom with the holes. Use that to locate where the holes go. Drill and install rivet nuts in the floor. Would be more awkward to install the bolts but wouldn't require taking the box apart.

Could have done it that way, but could not easily tightened the bolts inside the box.
Way easier to drill out 6 aluminum pop rivets, drill holes through both box and floor (eliminate any potential measuring mistakes) put in rivet nuts and bolt in place. Putting the six rivets back in was literally less than 5 mins. Taking top of box off and putting it back on was fastest and easiest thing about the project.

Adding pop rivets is easy, drilling them out is more of a pain. Uneven hard center makes keeping a drill steady not that easy. If I have a drill press would make a difference but I no.lomgfer have access since retiring. Worked with tools since my teens. Going those bolts in would be a breeze. I practice on FJ40 door hinges.
