Does anyone have a picture of this? I ran a few searches and I can only come up with a couple pictures (mainly the ones from the Norcal Marauders ad in this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/40-55-series-tech/255161-33-tiers-spring-over-2.html)

All the other pictures I pull back are FJ60s and I know most people think 35 minimum with SOA but I want to see it anyway.

Anyone have a link or a picture to an FJ40 SOA running 33s?

Thanks

33x12.5 SOA with SR. I plan on putting OEM steeles on it with a 33x10.5 KM2. once they are available.

That does look pretty good and I am one of those people who think 35 is the minimum. I've been on a mission to lower my SOA setup. Proffitt's makes a nice frame sleeve kit to reverse the shackle and lower the front end. I also removed a leaf (actually two at first, then added one back). Finally, my shackles are a little shorter than stock.

Just bumping my original thread to add my pictures. Hopefully this helps others when using the search. Still need to add trim pieces but its getting closer to completion.

Looks like all the mounting holes were filled in :meh: Could make adding them a little more difficult if that is new paint. Nothing like drilling on new paint. Looks good though,

Jonny

Hawkeyealum, your Cruiser looks awesome! Makes me wonder if the 35's I've already bought will look to big on my SOA I'm doing! Wish there were more pics of SOA's with 33's out there to check out as a comparison. I guess the difference wouldn't be that extreme either way.

Hi All:

Hawkeyealum, your rig looks great!

But, it appears that you are not really a 'wheeler. What is needed on a hard-core 'wheeling rig is different than what is needed for a daily driver/mild off-roader.

No worries - enjoy your FJ40! :)

Regards,

Alan

Damn good looking rig! Could you tell me what your over all height is? The SOA is something I have thought about but also felt 35's were in the deal as well. With seeing your 33's it definitlely changes things for me.

Thanks guys!

Alan - not much of a wheeler myself. I did add the full family roll cage but more as an added safety precaution for kids than extreme four wheeling

BJ44V - the overall height is just under 7 feet.

Thanks.
