Wanted FJ40 roller

I'm looking for a project for my son and I to work on slowly (yeah, everything I do is slow). What I am looking for is a solid, fairly rust free body with most of the parts bolted to it. Hard top would be a plus. We will do a Engine swap, so motor/tranny/tcase is unimportant. I'm indifferent to the year, although, pre 67 would be good (smog free).

I'm in Vegas, but can travel for a good enough deal.

I have a 74 roller. Very good frame. Good body. No drivetrain, seats, top or rollbar. I believe everything else is complete. I bought it as a project and then recently bought one that runs. I'll PM you my phone number.

1968 roller

I have a 1968 project that I am looking to get out of my garage. decent shape no motor or trans. P.O. cut rear wheel wells to run bigger tires. Let me know and I can shoot pics. Its in Bend Oregon

I've got one for ya - barely runs, prolific rust in all the usual spots. Leaks gas, tranny oil, and motor oil. Painted with a combo of Rust-o-leum, and various O'Riley brand rattle can paint. The tranny was rebuilt recently, but the mechanic is of dubious nature and there was no guarantee. In fact, I still have to use duct tape to keep the transfer case out of 4x4. I'll make u a great deal. How's 10.5K for a fellow mudder and his son. I take pay pal, but as a gift only. Leme know when you want to pick it up...
