I have been trying to search for this history of the fj40 in regards to sales and find lots of conflicting numbers. Any one know where I can find number of units sold world wide and in the US for the years made and when they really stopped selling them in the US. I have read they stopped in 1979 and 1981. I just bought a 1980 and I am wondering how many were made and how many were sold in the US.
