FJ40 for sale

No...it ain't Gundy.
My nephew called last evening to tell me a FJ40 is for sale on a car lot on Poinsett Highway
before you get to Cherrydale shopping center. He said it was on those stand thingies for
display. He thought it looked nice from 50 feet and 45 mph.

I haven't checked it out but thought I'd mention to the group. Lord knows I don't need
another vehicle right now.

Anybody see the 2 Cruisers sold at Barrett Jackson? 72 40 for about 23K and a 73 Troopie
owned by Alan Jackson went for about 75 K.

Here are some pics I took a few weeks back. I believe I saw the 40 still on the lot last weekend - maybe the weekend before.

I couldn't get any closer for pics. The lot was sold and the 40 was behind a barbed wire fence. I was immediately 'eyed' when I got out of my car - I was not in the best area of town.

They had it on ebay a couple days ago. Might have been sold bye now.

I looked at it a couple months ago, it had a chevy v8 and some rust and some mods, not original; I went in and asked the guy what he wanted for it, (after I made my way around the 200 lb pig on the front porch), he said $12,000 and I laughed as I said "Ok, then" and turned 180 degrees and left immediately. I though about offering him $5,000 but decided that would be stupid, unnecessary and a little rude
