Good luck with your 40 and I hope for you as with myself, things calm down a bit pretty soon. I know what being slammed is all about.
 
The criticism was well deserved and I have accepted responsibility for my negligence...however I agree with Josh and don't think this one incident will change my kids view or perception of my character. I hope this can to rest and I can still participate with all the fellow Mudders. Roger
 
Roger, I hope this was a fluke and don't hold anything against you. You had just mentioned how fatherhood was keeping you busy, I was trying to encourage you to step it up, by reminding you that you are now a role model to your kids and your actions and or reactions do influence the character of your kids and you should make an effort to lead by example. Was i a little harsh? well... maybe. Were you a little lax on you on honoring your word? (you already answered). I think it is time to move on and let this thread fade away.
 
Sounds like you made good on the whole deal Roger. Water under the bridge I'd be willing to bet Brad would agree at this point. Now all you have to do is a full fluid change and knuckle service of 3 members' rigs (including mine of course) and you'll be back in the fold :)
