Hi all...trying to get my 67 FJ40 project rolling...I had to take it down to Johnny at Toyota Techs due to mechanical, engine and electrical issues..FJ had been sitting for some time but Johnny and Mark were able to get her cranked..somewhat...he mentioned I needed to find an amp meter or a new instrument cluster...does anyone have an extra for sale or knows what I may need to do to remedy this situation?...I am hoping to get her rolling so I can do some work myself and get ready for URE in the Spring..any feedback, assistance, comments, etc will be greatly appreciated..thanks..Roger
 
Let me check, not sure what year it is from but I have a cluster that I was going to use and pulled the speedometer from.

I will let you know by tomorrow night or Saturday what I have
 
PM Trollhole(marshall) he will have almost everything you need guaranteed. He is close too so you can get it here easily, and I am sure his prices are more than fair.

Glad to hear Mark and Johnny got it started.... They def know cruisers well. I have seen them get some pretty rough looking stuff to run..
 
thanx josh..yeah, I figured I'l let Johnny and Mark take a crack at it and help me get the FJ functioning..I still want to do some stuff on my own but don't have all the right tools/equipment like they probably have...I will PM Marshall..thanx again..I'll keep you posted..R
 
alright, not sure what year it is from but I have a cluster with a amp meter in it, it has a black face and 2 nuts holding it to the cluster frame. I can take a picture if interested.

paid 40 for the cluster + shipping, removed speedo/odometer..how about 20 + shipping for it all as pictured or 5 + shipping for the amp meter, if you or anyone believes this is not fair, I am open for suggestions :D
 
sounds like a fair deal to me...unless anyone states otherwise...thanks...where is Holly Springs?..reason being I may be going to different area of the state over the next few weeks and could pick up and pay...Roger

Hi - trying to get it to someone that is going to the meeting, I cannot make it. I can meet up with someone tomorrow coming from the Raleigh area...anyone going and can meet up after work tomorrow, let me know.

brad you are more than welcome to bring it by my office in Briercreek. I am leaving early saturday morning. Or if you want just run it by the house on the way home from work.

Roger - I dropped of what you saw in the pictures to Greg this afternoon, he will deliver then to Al at the HAMOM/Meeting, sorry I cannot make it.
