21 hour, 1,118 mile round trip and my 40 is sitting in front of the shop. Rolled in this morning at 1:30AM. It is a 68, has a 72 frame with it as well. The fiberglass roof is strapped down on the back of the tow rig. For an added bonus it came with a pair of extra axles and a 2F motor, trans and transfer case. Oh yeah, it's a RHD and it runs.

you done well Stan, was wondering what she would look like. Cant wait for the goodies to come.

Thanks Jason. I have a huge list of things ahead of getting started on her, but for now she is a good platform to build bumpers and sliders on. I will be picking yours and other's brains at some point for all I'll need in the way of parts.

I wont be building her as a trail rig as that will be covered with the truggy and the next rig, an 80 to replace the FJC. I think a mild resto/mod and use it as a company rig will be the direction I go. Time will tell.

Stan, a nylon rope across the hood is not the recommended method to secure a vehicle for tow :)

Nice score. What's the plan?

Yeah, you've gotta at least add a couple bungees from the bumpers to the trailer.

Very nice. The fun is just starting!

First things first. Flip the bezel!
Was wondering who would be the first to state that

That is super nylon rope, I'll have you know. Last minute thought before hitting the road to hold the hood down.

No definite plan right now. It wont be built as a trail rig, between the truggy and the 80 that will replace the FJC we will be covered on trail rigs. I am thinking a resto/Mod of sorts. Something I can tool around in. Keep the body all stock, add bumpers etc, maybe a slight lift.

I am thinking white roof, red body, white wagon wheels maybe. I'll just use it to build bumpers and sliders on for now for customers. I will be working on the truggy before I dive into this.

The pressure was just too much to take, so I flipped the bezel :) Only one bolt holding it LOL. I looked at switching the steering to the left but that was just too damn much work :)

Switching the steering was only a joke

You might want to switch to left hand drive, I hear that right hand drive power steering fluid is REAL expensive..................:)
