So I’m new to FJ world. I just got a 76 roller. Will this work with my frame and axles if I’m putting a Chevy 350 in for the motor. Looks to be passenger drop for front and rear axles..
you will want fllorshift conversion pieces for both units. they. will run you more than the trans transfer combo.

and you should probably do some research on 3 vs 4 speed conversions before buying anything. :)

I ran a Chevy 350 with the original 1967 3 speed pair and 35 x 15.5 x 15 swampers for years. Never broke a thing🙂

I’m not even looking to do heavy 4 wheeling with it. Just basic trips into the woods around our cabin, so I think it would be plenty capable. I was just wondering if mechanically its a pretty compatible set up

It should serve you well. Reach out to @Downey For your conversion parts needs.

I think I have a floor shift setup (Transmission only, not Transfer case) for it if interested.
I can check the going cost rate
