Looking for a 75-83 FJ40. I have a list of what I am looking for. I think full restorations are well out of my budget, but something that still has a straight body and frame with very little rust would make a good starting point.
First-time Land Cruiser buyer, any advice would be appreciated.
Looking in the $10,000-$12,000 range, but somewhat flexible.
Engine: 2F, running good
Trans: stock 4 speed
Hardtop: 75-83 hardtop, and hard doors
Rear Fenders: uncut
Rear Quarters: would prefer no diamond plate (worried about rust)
Rust: minimal and reparable by an amateur
Suspension: prefer stock but a lift is okay
Paint: any color, original and heavily faded is fine
Distance: serious buyer at any distance
