For Sale FJ0 60/40 seat

Part of a 60/40 seat for sale. I'm not sure what year this came out of but I received this with my 75 FJ40. The PO was planning on using it as rear seat. I believe he welded some angle to two of the mounts. After cleaning this up I discovered that the vinyl is in really great condition and the seat folds forward and works well. The only issue is the PO's welded portions.

That looks like an early 45 passenger seat that was modified to fit in a 40.

It’s a 40 Seat. A 45 Seat would have an extra section of lower cushion that wrapped around the filler neck.

I have seen that release mechanism on ‘68 and ‘69. Maybe another year in each direction.

68-70. Earlier it just had a simple clip to hold upright. Later was a flat latch like the 73-78 bucket seats. Just looks like a FJ40 seat the the side and front legs were cut down and angle iron welded on so it would sit flat in the area behind the front seats. Not the first time I've seen it done.
