Anybody put a pair of FJ Cruiser seats in an 80? Just curious. I searched, but came up blank.

I have a 2011 Avalon Limited and it has heated/cooled seats...I'd like to see if another pair will fit in my 80.Seats are different for every vehicle. The seat structure itself might be the same across a couple models, but the mounting rails will be different on every model.
If you have a way to fabricate or hybridize some seats, give it a try.
I'm with the others... my DD is an FJ and they are not the most comfortable seats.
How about some cushy Avalon seats? Or even better, LS seats? That would be fantastic...
Starting in 2013, Avalon seats were available with heaters AND coolers. Basically, it blows A/C from a duct under the seat, through the cushion and up your keister! THAT is a comfortable ride...
I read another thread where people mentioned the FJ seats were really inferior and very uncomfortable.I feel like some FJ seats would be pretty pricey, that isn't a car that gets scrapped too often and had low production numbers......

If I can't find a good pair from an old Avalon, I'll probably go with Subaru Outback / WRX or even an old Jetta.
There a really GREAT thread HERE about seat swaps that is pretty amazing.
D.
NICE.My plan was to pick up some Audi seats and while waiting for some to pop up locally I kept tabs on salvage yards for any new arrivals, ended up with a freshly completely refurbished stock set and a bunch of other misc new parts.
