I posted this in the Copper State Cruiser sub-forum, but thought it might have some value here as well...

Just finished my table for the rear door. :D

Been working on it this week, the kitchen table has been my workshop (WAY to hot in the garage!!)

Almost finished.

All I need now is some 1/4" plugs to fill the holes from the cargo netting...

Materials list:
3/4" Birch marine plywood 39x19
Black speaker box carpet
1" webbing
Nylon hinges with SS pin
Kolpin rubber straps
Black plastic knobs to attach webbing
Assorted screws and what not...

This was my inspiration

How much weight is that able to hold? Im wondering because I have a mpac which I would not consider heavily loaded and it is causing problems with the door panel clips on the handle side of the rear door.

My guess is ~25 pounds. I have had no issues with it thus far, but I don't use it for heavy items either.

That's a good amount of weight. I'm guessing my problem is from having it under a constant load. I ended up loosing some of the weight and the clips don't come out as much.

I'm sure being loaded and driving offroad played a part....if you like to go fast (like I do) it accelerated the issue I'd guess. :steer:

Yup I love to go fast on dirt and gravel roads. I need to slow down before I break something, but what fun is that! Haha

That looks good and would be super handy. Thanks for posting, I might have to do this. Seems like a nice easy and fairly inexpensive mod.
