Don't forget this stuff while packing...
"All vehicles are required to have a full-sized spare tire, tow hooks, jack and lug wrench, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, nylon snatch trap, and seat belts. Advanced trails require a winch. All trail rides are led by experienced guides ."
Who Are We?

Looks like I may be seeing you guys there afterall. My daughter wants to meet some friends in the Winchester area on Sunday and I've convinced The Mom Lady to come along...provided we stay at the Marriott in Winchester. Looks like we'll be spending the weekend (Friday, Sat, Sun).

I'll be limited to the bunny trails due to not having my new 4Runner suspension installed. I'll probably pull off the running boards and take a few easy trails so I can teach my daughter some basics about driving off road.

See you there!

Tom, Steve, and I are going to convoy down there midday Friday. I'm sure we could hook up on the way or at the site.

What time Friday and what route?

Anybody bringing gubs for the gub range?

Lylia bought some tiki oil so one of you fine gentlemen needs to chug down some Mickeys for the cause.

I'm hoping to get there sometime Friday afternoon also.

Anyone know if the little town of Gore has a gas station or do you have to top off before you get there??

What time Friday and what route?

Going to meet at Sheetz in Haymarket at 10:00. I'd actually like to do 55 to 17 and cut across to 50 to Winchester.

There is one gas station on the road to Gore - at least there was several years ago.

I'm planning to leave in the early afternoon with a stop in Winchester so please save me a spot.

I may bring some gubs to sight them in.

I'M not sure about the gas station in Gore but there is a Shell just outside Winchester on RT50 up from Walmart and there is another one GasMart maybe alittle farther up the road just after you cross the railroad tracks. Both of them are not far from Gore.

I'm hoping to bring a pallet but we will likely need more firewood if anyone has some available.

Who's bringing the Mickey's?

I'll see if I can find up some fire wood. I may go up and set up camp early with my daughter then come home drop her off and get what ever I forgot.

I tried to get a good running start at it. Finally had to down shift to 3rd a little over half way up. Crested the top doing 40. I told Elaine she may have to get out and give it a push, can't really understand why she looked at me so funny. I think gears would really help :hillbilly:

It was nice to see some new faces and hear some new stories. Thanks for the ride Brother Burl.

Who's going to Coal Mine?

Big thanks to the FJ guys for having the event!!

Certainly upgrades Virginia wheeling a few notches.

Nice to see/meet everyone:beer:
