fj 70 fj 40 spring difference? (1 Viewer)

I found some nice Fj70 spring packs in mint shape here.

Is there any difference in lengths?
If they are a longer find with me will make for a better ride.

any help would be grat.
Been looking for a spring length chart on the form but nothing that I could find.

Hoping one of you might have the answer.

Hi All:

The 70 Series front leaf springs are the same length as the 60 Series front spring packs, which are similar but not the same as front 40/45 Series springs.

The rear leaf springs on the SWB 70 Series are the same length as the rear 60 Series spring packs, so longer than the rear springs on a 40 Series. However, these can be made to fit under a 40 Series - do some searching here on MUD for more info.

I have read up in the past about 60 springs on a 40 and seems like a good conversion.
