I posted an earlier thread on my FJ-62 cruiser running very rich, and now not running at all.I have talked to Dung Nguyen, who currently has the truck and is trying to find the problem. He says no codes show up. When i had the truck running i never saw the engine light come on.Dung has swapped a lot of new parts on to my cruiser to test and put my parts on his cruiser.he says all the electric components are good, including the tps and maf. He has not tested or replaced the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel pulsation dampener.I have requested that he check these. He seems to think these two items would not make it run soo rich.It also has higher than expected compression.I thought maybe from fuel in the cylinders, but i'm not a real mechanic.Dung does not think this is an electrical problem unless it is a short in the fuel injection wiring. I really appreciate the help you have given me so far.I passed it on to the mechanic.I will let you'all know if any of it works.

I would definitely suspect the fuel pressure regulator, they do eventually go bad and can cause lots of issues. If the pressure in the fuel rail is too high, then it will run rich.

Also, check the cold start injector, it might be stuck open.

Did you try looking into the wire harness going into the MAF as I mentioned before? I would suggest doing it yourself because it would take less than a minute. Mine ran horribly when I changed the air filter. One of the pins was retracted.
