Hello all, I've been reading the threads ever since my friend introduced me to his FJ40 about 2 months ago and to make a long story short, the FJ60; FJ62 are two vehicles that are unique and have really caught my attention. Just about two weeks ago my 2003 Tahoe z71 was stolen from my office and has yet to be recovered, I'm still in shock and miss it dearly (Single owner, meticulously maintained, perfect interior and 140k miles). With this being said, I've begun my intensive search for a mostly original FJ60 or FJ62. Price; originality is important to me. I would like to also get the forum's opinion on what a reliable daily driver would cost today? My commute is about 20 miles (no highway). I was thinking about buying something with 170K-200K miles and having it looked over by Javier's Autos Unlimited in order to help rebuild and replace what it needs in order to be dependable. Has anybody had any major work done at Javier's and what did it cost you; where you happy with the job done? Many questions here , but would appreciate any help here, thanks!
