Does anyone know of a web site or something where i could download a haynes repair manual? Have done some serching and so far only sites where i can order the book. Was hoping to get a copy that would be on the comp. but if there are no sites will have to buy it i guess. Cheers in advance Mash:)

Why deal with a haynes when you could use a factory manual. You never said what year you have but if it is older you can go to TreerootCO web page and get at least the engine stuff there. If it is a later model one you might be able to easily get the Factory service manual for it.

Its a '73 model cab chassis. Have not had a chance to check the engine out properly yet but am under the impression that I've got the 2f, and from my understanding they didint come with the 2f. I was also wanting some info about the body and elecrical wiring, cause mines like a bowl of spaggeti with lots of exposed wire ends that go nowhere. Cheers Mash:)

If I get around to it, I plan on adding the body and chassis manuals to my page.

theres a prob with checking out the manuals keeps coming up with an error. All i'm getting is lots of pages that are solid grey.

Mash:-Try looking in the op shops if you have no luck with the web or bettr still borrow your old mans 60 series mannual as the wiring is probably the same

I downloaded them again to check and they seem to be working fine.

Keeps on saying there was a problem downloading the document for the 64' FJ40 manual but others seem to be working. Cheers for the help.

I would borrow the old mans if the wiring was the same. But being that yours is an '83 Sahara and mines a '73 LWB cab chassis i thought that they would be different. Anyone else on here know if they would be the same?? Cheers Mash:)

Hay thanks for the advice and info fellas, just managed to get a genuine toyota repair manual from a second hand book store. When i bought it thought that it would be based on the Australian models but it has wiring diagrams for the USA & Canada models and wiring diagrams for the rest of us. Haven't looked to closly at the manual yet but wonder what other differences the models had (mechanical wise). Once again cheers for the help Mash:)
