I picked up this FJ40 of a fellow mud member a few years or so ago and bought it home, changed title over, drove it for a few weeks and then put it in storage for a Gunna Do Project.

Well I have hit to many Gunna Do Projects so I am thinking of letting some go and this FJ40 has made it onto the list with my recent purchase of a Bj46.

I have no interest in tire kicking dreamers and the FJ 40 is what it is. I am into it for around $9k as she sits and would be looking for $9000 CASH to let her go. If you feel the need to haggle then I am after $11000 OBO and we can settle at $9000 after a dozen calls and inspections.

She is an honest rig and I have nothing to hide.

The last owner was way more into internet details and posts than I am so I figured his For Sale Post is way more detailed than anything I have to say. She is an honest truck and he was an honest guy.

It is exactly the same as when I got it just been sitting in a shipping container sealed and hanging out with some other projects.

I also have a rolling 77 that I picked up for the Disc Brake front end that can go with it to give you the disc brake upgrade option should you want it and a Saginaw Power Steering Conversion.

Has jump seats in the back in good condition don't have a picture.

Is still in my shipping container and I would expect she will want a service, only issue I remember was the over flow tank had cracked ( that stupid plastic thing ) swivel hubs were leaking and drum brakes were average which is why i picked up the 77 with disc front.

Had a question about the 77 ... it is a Rolling collection of Parts but if you wanted to go back to a 2F engine it has a block lol

Here is the 77 when I got it but I took some small stuff of it so lets call it a front Disc brake diff with some parts on it although it is still a roller BUT I have been letting people pick over it at will so pictures are when I got it.

To be clear this is the 77 for Parts not the car I am selling but it is included in the price .

There was a question in the previous owners post that I didn't see answered, about the mounting of the motor, is it AA hardware or something else? (I've seen homemade before......)

Thanks

I want to say AA but would have to check the Invoice .... yeah it has invoices from 75 when the conversion was done by the original owner. I guess he really didin't like the Toyota engine ... if only we could turn back time

Man, if I was in the market for a 40 I'd jump on these. Throwing in the parts rig is just icing on the cake.

Sold pending logistics thanks for the responses.

I will mark as sold once transaction complete
