In case anyone else is considering protection for the middle seat bottom while leaving the leather exposed in the backrest, I installed just the Marathon seat bottoms today. Perfect fit and super easy to install. More form fitting and custom fit to the cruiser vs generic dog protection solutions. And not tremendously more expensive. I just reboxed the armrest and back in their shipping box in case I ever decide I want to install them.

While they fit really well, they were just installed today so they should settle in even more I think. I wish Marathon would have let me buy just the bottom section but they only sell by the row. More than happy though, particularly with the ease of installation.
