Have considered removing the OEM Toyota Dash Cam (front only); it is at least as janky as the FitCamX. I had a FitCamX front and rear on my old Polestar 2 and it was pretty decent; the app was much easier to use than the separate Toyota Dashcam app.

I haven’t had great experiences using any Toyota app in the past. That was one of the motivating factors to getting something other than oem.
Agreed, somehow the Toyota app is way worse than the Jeep app, Audi app, etc. Pretty lazy not even trying to integrate their Dashcam into the Toyota app; it's like a re-branded Chinese camera and app with "Toyota Dashcam" pasted on.
nice, Can’t go wrong with a dual camera setup. I’ve been using Two Garmin minis for a few years on my 4Runner, works perfect.
