i plan to dent, dirty & scrape mine on the way home; however, not quite that much...

wooooooaah. So, can they sell them like that for a cheaper? What happens to a car when it gets damaged before a sale? Does the dealer take a loss?
Anyway, thats kinda sick. Maybe Marlin or someone can jump on this and rip out the inside bits. Then sell the rest to me. For a dollar. :D

I literally did! I was on my way home from the dealership and a piece of tire (we call 'em road gators) flipped up and nailed my rather flimsy front bumper and smacked the crap out of it. I decided it was the truck gods telling me to order an ARB, so I did!

Looks like the first candidate for a convertible ,half doors, roll cage and sas. whatta ya say!!! Whos the dealers insurance co.

Most likely get repaired and put back on the lot as "new"

Now it's officially Trail Rated. :D

This is illegal - a dealer cannot sell this car as new without disclosing the repairs.

Actually it depends upon the amount of money the repairs cost. A lot of brand new vehicles show up with dings and dents during shipment and they get repaired without being reported. I think in Idaho the says if it is less than $500 they don't have to report it. Obviously this is probably more than that. It doesn't really matter though. The car dealers carry insurance and they will probably make out like bandits.
