Just picked up my first LC ever. 2000 100 series with 202k on the odometer. I've already learned quite a bit from you all so far (will check my "T's" when I get home). I live in Kentucky and it's been a Ohio/KY rig for its life. It needs some TLC but for an 18 year old truck, it is in pretty good shape. Haven't done any off-road as this is my first truck/SUV ever. Don't plan on doing any trails or serious off-road but may hit a couple back country roads now and again.

Congratulations and welcome to Mud. There are a ton of kind and knowledgeable people here that will help you spend your money. :D

The LC already needs some work done so im prepared to spend some money. Got the exhaust manifold issue and needs timing belt/water pump change done since the last known one was doe over 100k ago. I'm just glad I've got this group to be more well informed.

From my experience, re-pack your wheel bearings and have a good look at your rotors. Alternator will also be on your short list.

And grease your U-joints first. ;)

I will have a look at wheel bearings and U joints. Rear rotors and calipers were just done and alternator was done by the seller yesterday.
Im sure it will need some things done that I haven't found yet.
