Hey guys,

After 8 months of searching, I finally got my LC. Its a 2006 with 31,000 miles. I got it for 30k with all the options, I was in the market for a 04 but couldn't pass up on this deal. Here are some pics from the dealer:

Man... where did you steal it? That is a GREAT price for a 2006. I paid $35,500 for mine plus TTL etc off the lot ran just over $41K

That was last year though.... :)

Score! $30K seems to be the price the market will bear right now for an '06 30-40k mile LC. Crazy!

Great deal congratulations. Blows me away that you can get a 2006 with 30K miles for $30K, but Toyota thinks they can get $65K+ for a new 200 series. Crazy, just CRAZY!!!!

Great buy on a beautiful rig. Congrats! :flipoff2:

Fine looking rig! Congrats and Merry Christmas!

Putting a bow on it???? :grinpimp:

Now take it out and :steer:

I found it at a Mercedes benz dealership in Encino, Ca. The salesman there said that it previously owned by the wife of the owner of the dealership.

Thanks for the feedback guys, this car is much more better than I expected, im lovin it. One negative I noticed last night about the car is the multi disc CD changer in the middle console is broken. The changer will not pop up and you can hear the CD Changer motor struggling to open it, seems like it is stuck in place. The dealer said they would fix it for free, have any of you guys had problems with the CD Changer?

Benz dealership owner's wife using a LC...that's no brainer :o))

Congrts...nice looking cruiser...does it have AHC?

Still under warranty I think....still 3 year, 36,000 miles no?

mate that is a nice and clean looking 'cruiser. Get it checked out by a 3rd party inspection agency if you have those over there.
Just for piece of mind.
Over here in Oz we have the Royal Auto Club (RACV), and in my state of Victoria the V is that. It does carry reciprocal rights around Oz which is good.
If you can get an independant inspection (RACV offers that here, which is why i mentioned it) do it, otherwise...it looks nice.
cheers
peter

I'll look into the warranty, I thought it ended at 30,000 miles, but i think you are correct, its 36,000 miles. So can I just roll up to a Toyota dealership and get the CD changer fixed, without warranty papers?

Yes, look at your owners manual but it sounds like the dealer you are buying it from will also fix it.

Yes, I did that to my 95 corolla that was less than 3 yrs old and 36k. I was the second owner. The problem was that the driver's glass was being scratched by the door going up and down. No cost to me.
The warranty papers should be for the extended warranty.I never bought extended warranty in my life so I don't know if the dealership should have it in their computers/files.

The dealer with have the records for the in-service date. You warrenty time frame is depedant on when it was 1st registered.

Call a Toyota dealer with your VIN and see if you are covered. If so, take it in and ask them to go stem to stern. Find anything and everything they can and fix it. Probably not anything to find, but it's best to be carefull.

If your warrenty is in effect they will cover the CD player. If the dealership is a little ways away ask them to order one and have it in stock before you roll out there to avoid a repeat trip.

Nice rig and excellent buy!!:bounce:
