I have had my 2000 LX since new and recently passed it down to one of my daughters. Bought another 2001 LX a few months ago and that is now going to my other daughter.

Now it is my turn. I have been looking for a pristine 2003-2005 Land Cruiser in either Gray or Blue for literally a year. Well, a 2005 finally came up and I jumped on it. Paid a little more than I wanted, but I still feel good about it. Only 111K miles and in pristine condition outside of a few typical exterior nicks. Only one PO with the car spending its first ten years in New Mexico and the last on one in Oregon. No rust at all. The PO literally brought the car into their dealer ever 5K miles (or sooner if too much time had passed) and had all of the proper work done. Definitely a lifetime grocery-getter up to this point. It included all the original manuals, keys and even the original packaging for the entertainment headphones and remote control.

I wish that it had grey interior instead of ivory, but that is about the only thing that I can nit-pick about.

Feeling very lucky. Currently driving it down the Pacific Coast to its new home in Southern California.

Man, that's nice looking. What year did you end up finding? I'm partial to the '04s.

That's a great color, congrats!

Thanks. It is a 2005 - just edited my original post.

Nice. I'm partial to the ivory actually, but mine's dark gray on gray with 109k. Congrats.

The blue ones are rare here in Colorado, but I love the color. Looks like a fine example!

You're the one that got it!? That's awesome!! I was second in line but they said you had just put the money down and would be there in a couple days to pick it up. I love that color!! Great score man.

Thanks for all of the comments guys.

Yeah, I had them go over the car with me as well as I could on the phone and then I gave them a deposit to hold it. They said that they had a ton of inquiries on it, but I just assumed that was just them trying to get me excited about the deal.

Really enjoyed driving the car on my trip down the Oregon and Califirnia coast. This is the first time driving one with a 5-speed and I am loving it.

I don't. I will give it a shot and see how much of a difference I notice.

Jealous!
I am on the lookout for my perfect LX470 most likely and ideally I will
Fly out to pick it up and drive home (I'm in the midwest and ideally looking for a dry climate truck)
I flew from Detroit to Pittsburgh last year to get my BWM and drove it home!
Really a great way to get to know a car!!!
