Fantastic looking truck!

Everything concerning the window trim/molding looks pristine, what all was involved with making it look that way?...ie, you mention powder coating, was everything on/off the truck when you had it done?

Yes, the roof racks, hitch, wiper arms all came off the truck and went to a local powdercoater. I did have to spray paint the plastic end caps for the roof racks but with the proper paint and prep, they came out really well. The other thing I did was tape off the vehicle and spayed the gutter trim. Again, if you properly prep, it can come out awesome. Then I did replace the window trim pieces with new OE pieces - those being the trim that runs along the bottom of the windows.

Lastly, the rubber/plastic around the windows actually really came back to nice condition with a light compounding. Looks awesome with a little elbow grease!

Did you refinish the front bumper? If so let me know how, truck looks great!

The only deviation from the original paint was the bumpers, rear fender flares and front valance. They went to a local body shop who specializes in Mercedes-Benz repairs. The paint though looks awesome and the color matches perfectly.

Pulled those parts off myself then asked the shop to put them back on.

Looks great, nice work! I'm undergoing a similar process with mine and am not far behind.

What size tires are those?

Nice.

I just bought an M3 this morning and I can't keep this truck too. So yes, after all this work, it's for sale.

Asking $26,500. Don't beat me up too hard for my ask guys as there is probably not a cleaner FJZ80 on the market right now - I can feel good about saying that after putting all the work i did into this one. Have all receipts to prove the work. Runs good, only non OEM parts are the NKG plugs, lift, and power antenna. Other than that, completely OEM! Prices on these locked trucks will only go up too.

She'll be going on e-bay probably next week.

Very nice and clean, 10k? Yes but definitely NOT 26k, sorry.

Wasn't that guy with the steel wheel fedish all spun-up about getting a Concours d'Elegance quality replacement for his wreck?

$26500 is not a bad place to start. In spite of what MUD thinks, people pay up for quality rust free rigs.

I bet that is close to a $26,000 rig to the right buyer. I would think about a Bring a Trailer auction. Those guys can appreciate the work that went to this and your truck would be among others that have sold for around $30k. That guy that had the Moonglow Pearl one got north of $30K for his, I am pretty sure.

People here think like regular people for the most part and they know how much work goes into one of these trucks and they are gunshy about over paying. There is a whole 'nother world of money that some people earn that makes dropping $30K on a kick ass Land Cruiser that is not going to change anything other then their level of enjoyment they can get from life.

Nicely done.

I see in 1st post you mention OME suspension + Ko2s.

Did you do the 862 / 861 J + 285s or Are those 305s ?

I also see the steering wheel leather looks damn nice, Don't know that I've ever seen one in that condition. What did you do there ?

Undercarriage and engine bay shots, please

.......... didn't see any cup-holders, that'll put the price down :D
BTW any engine bay pics ? Is it immaculate like the body/interior work ?

Did I miss the mileage?

Yes, those are 305's - really like the size, they look awesome!

Patience was key on the steering wheel. It took a loooooong time but I sourced one on MUD.

If you can, please check out the e-bay auction as I put up a few very detailed pics.
