Man have I been slacking on my cruiser.
Bow season came around, practice like crazy in september, hunt hard October and November, Kill 5 deer:grinpimp:, now it's back to the cruiser, FINALLY!

I can't even remember whn I bought these fenders, I think it has been a year and a half or more.

Anyway, This will be a daily driver if(when) I finish it, so I wanted to have inner fenders. I cur the inners off of my origional fenders and put them on the metaltech fenders. Since I started working on these over a year ago, there was surface rust from where I failed to prime the metal. I sandblasted everything today, ground down some final welds that would affect looks, and primered them tonite!
WOOHOO:bounce::bounce::bounce:

Anyway, I am covering the vehicle in Camoclad, Link to thread is here

I am planning on painting them black tomorrow. It doesn't matter what the color is, since they will just be covered in camoclad, like this tailgate section.

I will most likely spray some type of bedliner on the inside of the fenders.

WOW! That is some impressive camo painting. Almost looks like a sticker it's so detailed.

Sorry, read again. Camoclad. Pretty cool!

I think I have $250 in enough camoclad to do the basic rig....no top or doors as the moment.

Tube fenders look good. I did the same with my inners:

Nice work on adapting the skins over to the tube fenders.

I will be building a custom set of tube fenders for my FJ45LV ;)

Update

Here are some updated pics. I finished painting the fenders black, and covered the passenger side with the camoclad. Took 2 hours to do the fender w/ Camoclad.

Enjoy:cool:

FULL THROTTLE, you better get that s*** off the dinning room table before your wife gets home or we will be reading about you in the paper and there will be a 40 for sale!:eek: LOL looks great!

Super cool, the camo and the fenders. Just wondering how you're going to find it when you are coming back from hunting. You might need to buy a GPS just to relocate your 40. Keep your hands out in front so you don't get a bloody nose when you run into it. Oh please oh please take a pic of it in its natural environment when you are done. That I gotta see (or not see). Man that has got to be the just awesome to see rolling down the road.
