Seasons greetings and holiday cheers to all!

I am new to the forums, and def new to the GX world, but not new to the Toyota / 4WD drive realm!

I started with an 04 4Runner Sport 4WD and immediately loved the versatility and durability - I have had the 4 runner for 5 years now, and over 250K on the clock - and she runs smooth as ever. In any case - I have recently moved to SoCal and was back and forth between the 5th gen PRO or an GX470. I wanted another "capable" vehicle, but also wanted to indulge in some creature comforts such as leather and push button start. (Something I have become used to in my Acura and BMW cars). With that in mind after several months of research I decided to pull the trigger on a GX460. Took me about 4 months but finally found on in the configuration I wanted and also that the Lady approved of. I wanted a luxury without the air ride which was more difficult than I thought. So I
changed my search to a premium with individually custom added options - to match as many as desired. I was able to find one!

2014 Premium Starfire Pearl w/ Ecru Interior
39K Miles
1 Owner / Clean Carfax with NO accidents and a clean REPORTED service history
Bonus Options
Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
Power-folding electrochromic (auto-dimming) outside mirrors
Headlamp washers
Intuitive Parking Assist

Mild Overlanding in mind, we are going to do some TRD wheels and tires. Better rack basket for snowboarding, and an awning.

Welcome to the club!
You should have no problem finding something that'll be close to how you'd like to build your rig. Lots to read, lots to learn.
Tip: find a quite Saturday morning, big 'ol cup of coffee and enjoy some of the builds, stories, and so on that you'll find here!
Of special note, look a the sticky posts at the top of the forum. Great resources.

Little update a year later. I ended up on deployment from March to September - so not much work done, but got the essentials done :).

AT tires, full roof rack, awning, cargo box, and most importantly sun shade lol.

In-vehicle custom air mattress with privacy covers for windows as well as some light camping items. Shes done quite well :)
