Hello all,

I am still looking for a good 200 to buy, and I have been thinking how all of the available bumpers were unsightly until I came upon this video.

go to 1min mark here

So far it's available only in Russia, but couldn't a good local fabricator make one like it?
It's not perfect, but it sure looks better than anything currently out there. Just hope slee makes them soon.

That looks like an interesting bumper, no doubt.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, though...because I think these are gorgeous...

haha.. good point!

the front angles are ok. it's the side view that bugs me.

OK... I first saw the post as a photo...not a video. Now see that there's a winch mount in there, which is very cool! Why so few of these things are available here is clearly due to the TINY number of Cruisers here... Sad to have so few choices.

Ha you'll get use to the styling.
Took me a minute to adjust my thinking as well. Proline in Miami makes some offerings. Check them out. Good luck on your hunt

I would buy something like that in a heartbeat. While I do agree with Markuson that a full bumper with lights and all the goodies does look awesome, and I would give my left toe to have a full blown built rig, this is still my daily driver, so I like the idea of something a little more understated. Plus, until I do get my dream truck, It would be much easier to sneak this past the wife. ;)

I looked at those Russian bumpers before I purchased the current one. And they look good but I was thinking they may be a bit frail / I hit 4 deer @ separate times couple of summers ago. The price was cheap but the freight was an additional factor

Deer is exactly why I went with full guard. Took out my headlight, grill, windshield, headlight washer, fog light, etc.

What Willy said.

After seeing the deadly aftermath of a couple killed in Alaska from a moose-strike that rolled right over into their faces... BULL BARS can literally save your life! They can temporarily "catch" the critter in the bars, and often prevent what happened in AK. To me, if you spend time in deer country (or roos in Australia, etc.), a Bull Bar is the cheapest *literal* life insurance you can buy. -Not the kind you benefit from AFTER death, but the kind that might AVOID death!

Just purchased my 3rd ARB Bullbar from Kurt. I have one on my 60, and Tacoma and soon my 200, all in the name of safety.

Ahh yes, thats the back-alley special usually made from fiberglass and more as a "looks" improvement rather than being structural. But you gotta admit it looks good!

The qatari market knows their way around that upgrade pretty well, they even got 16" steelies to fit and clear the stock brake calipers. Also, heres another teaser shot of the front end of my 200:
