Hi guys -

Just wondering if anybody has OBA Co2 tanks that they are able to get filled around the lower mainland anywhere. I stopped in at Air Liquide welding place in Langley and they only do replacement of tanks and don't do any on-site refilling.

Finding a place to fill a CO2 tank is proving to be harder than I thought. Just wondering if you guys have any ideas.

Riley

I heard someone talking about filling the CO2 tank with air, at River Shiver, I don't remember who but I remember them saying that it wasn't as good as CO2, but it was still quite good. Other than that, I can only suggest trying KMS tools, I think they fill tanks for welding, but don't quote me on that, cause I only use flux wire!
Cheers,
Deny

Try Canadian tire, they have CO2 to fill up the paintball tanks

In Richmond

I thought I'd update this thread with my findings on filling CO2 tanks.

It's called

Air-Sea Fire Safety
101-3760 Jacombs Road Richmond
604.214.4305

List price for a refill is $18.75 but if you're friendly and BS with the boys you can get a better price. Excellent shop and they do tank tests and repairs ect...

They also fill while you wait which is handy.

Mine is 10lbs. The next step is to build a bracket to hold it in place.

On my big family camping trips, I probably wouldn't bother as space is a premium.

Thanks for the info, Riley. How big is your tank? I have a bigger one that I probably won't use because it takes up so much room.

Hey. how big is your tank? I have a regulator setup for larger DISS tanks. I might just buy it off you if you don't want it. My 4 pounder is only good for 3 - 4 Air-ups.

Hey ham:

I'll give you a call...we'll work something out. Mine's pretty big, so I don't even know if you want it. You'll probably never have to fill it up for the rest of the year. :D I'm working 0700-1500 for the next three days...you going to be around?
