Hey, we briefly chatted at the BCOR Rally! Sorry I didnt have time to come by later to follow up on our conversations. Would love to go out on some trails and explore more whenever your free !
How was it? We went to the one in Whistler in 2019 and really enjoyed it, except for the weather.
It was my first time attending so I had a blast. Its a great community and my wife and I really enjoyed speaking to many of the attendees.
Met some great people on here at BCOR.

First timers here as well. We had a great time and definitely plan on going back in 2026. The weather was good since it wasn’t too hot or dusty. A solid number and diversity of vendors provided great raffle prizes every night. I was particularly lucky having been drawn every night but didn’t claim on Sunday since it was a repeat Freedom Offroad goodie bag that we’d already won on Friday.
I must say that the rally provides sooo much value for a relative overlanding newbie. I learned so many tips/tricks and overland essentials from the vendor training sessions and fellow campers. Also ended up buying a lot of new items to enhance my camp setup. Stuff I couldn’t pass up for various reasons.
Trent (BMX269), we didn’t get a chance to say a proper goodbye since we really wanted to get home asap. Hopefully we catch up with you again sometime!
Waldos, hopefully you keep your LX570 and we see it again next year with some mods.

After much deliberation at home, I've decided to keep the Lx lol. However, now I'm trying to figure out if i want to do an AHC delete or just replace all with OEM again. The benefits of AHC are great, especially when it comes to load bearing and towing (which I don't do). I'm at the point where I'll benefit from an AHC flush and/ or globes so I'm deciding whether or not to keep it. Both options are quite pricey.

I just have to come back here and give a shout out to one of the rally vendors…Rene (Off Grid Trek) has been an amazing resource for building up my solar and power system. I high recommend his products and services! FYI his website is in USD but he’s actually located in Calgary and shipped my Aferiy P210 2048WH power station for free (despite +50lbs).
