Fillin' the hole?

just curious what you are all doing to fill the hole left when you remove the top and ambulance doors?
purchase one piece tail gate / make one / cargo net / or leave it open and let the wind blow the coffee cups out! show some pictures to give me an idea what to do. thanks

without the ambulance doors, you'll need to find a place to mount your license plate.

Pretty easy to fab one up out of sheet steel, as long as looks aren't important.

i purchased a bolt on tailgate from CCOT (heres a link) Tailgate - Fold Down 1958-12/74 they are on sale but they aint cheap! you might also look on eBay and also look at Specter Off-Road, Inc.-Landcruiser Parts & Accessories in there clearance section (dont remember what its actually called) thay have them in there cheaper some times. and as far as doors i cut down a set of factory doors into half doors.

try a search on half doors and tailgate you should find a lot of info. good luck!
