Well I use my 80 for off road use and my 100 for daily driver slash traveler my 100 is mostly stock except for a stereo and I put the new Toyota twenty's on is with general grabbers so I was thinking about the flares but I didn't know they were not stock so I MIGHT change my mind....but MITES do grow on chicken asses ha

I believe the fender flares for a lot of the 100 series were made by Bushwacker.
FYI: I saw the flares in the Toyota Accessory Book my dealer has. I think somewhere in the 2005-2007 book.

I'm not sure exactly what a TMS USA dealer is versus a private distributorship. Can you elaborate and tell us how one knows the difference? Thanks.
Back in 1950-whatever when was Toyota was trying to get a foothold in the U.S. They sold distributorship rights to American entrepreneurs in order to build a distribution network over here.
As Toyota took off over here TMC (Toyota Motor Corp, Japan) bought as many back as they could. Three cash cows remain in private hands, Gulf States Toyota (out of Texas), Southeast Toyota (out of Florida) and Mid Atlantic Toyota (on the east coast).
These private entities have their own distribution systems and "private" accessories that they sell thorough their dealer networks. many (if not most) of those private accessories are not "genuine" Toyota and come from aftermarket vendors.
You can only imagine the confusion when one of these vehicles shows up in a TMS distributor dealership and has a problem with it's "Toyota" accessory.

Okay, ditching the minivan tires helped too... and using a better camera

This is why the dealer that repaired my 03 Tundra that was rearended had such an awful time getting replacement rear fender flares for the Tundra I got through my BIL who worked for Southeast Toyota.
