Mods I am not spamming....

I am putting out a feeler for a potential group buy on some FRP.com.au fiberglass products for the 40, 60, 70, 80 and 100 series cruisers.

They have a variety of products ranging from replacement body panels, fender flares, battery trays and overhead consoles for each series of land cruisers.

FRP makes a wicked VDJ style hood scoop that fits the narrow front 70 series landcruiser. I really hope to have one of these on the front of my 77 and 75 down the road.

I also have access to importing ECB - East Coast Bull Bars.

At this moment I do not have any price lists. I am just trying to get a feel who would be interested in their products if I was to organize freight or a container over to Canada.

From what I can see so far with my talking to the rep the prices are worth more than an ARB in the USA before factoring in shipping or anything else involved. I think these will be out of the question unless someone is extremely set on them.

I am going to push to try and get some interest for some sport hoods and some fender flares for the 70 series.

I'll get back with any new info.

Enjoy some hood scoop photos

@ForealBoreal - I know I'm creating a zombie thread by asking... but did you ever move on the hoods with intakes? I want to install an intercooler into my BJ70 and this is the best looking option I've seen yet.

I saw one of these bonnet scoops a few days ago. I was wondering where they would have got it. It looked ok ,maybe a little oversize in proportion as the V8 bonnet is wider.

It's a great looking hood @beno but I am not a fan of frp on these things. I will stick with my homebuilt cheesy steel one. It is a little less Fj'ish and goes along with the utilitarian structure of the vehicle better for me, and works perfectly for the top mount intercooler. thanks for sharing though

Air / Water is always an option if you want to forgo the hood scoop.

This is the intercooler I have - Pulled it from a Saab 9-3XT

No room for it behind the grill unless I re-route some stuff.

I pulled the bottom grey grill/bezel/whatever at another time to see if I could put spacers in it. There's room, but I'd need to cut a few things.

I did think that cutting vertically along the outside of the intake holes of the grey bit and extending it outward to fit the cooler would be the best option. There are 2" pipe holes cut into the front of the truck from the factory which would need to be expanded by another half inch to accommodate the pipes from the intercooler.

I put a Turbo-Glide in. They recommend against water-cooling their units. Is that them simply being overly cautious?
Sorry, the answer to that question is way above my pay grade. I'm running a Garrett and there was no restriction to an
A/W Intercooler.

That's good to hear. I thought it sounded a bit absurd to me. The one supplied by TG was a Garrett GT25. I'll look into water-cooling it if I can't come up with a good intercooler solution.

I like that Fiberglass 79 series hood scoop. Looks slick. I won't be changing over though.

Truck is going for sale in the next few months after I get a few pm stuff done

Karter, I thought that 77 Series was your baby. :)

It is, love the truck but my priorities are changing at this point. I can't justify having it sit in the driveway and not be my daily driver at this point. I don't think it will be my last cruiser by any means but with a kid coming in the next 3 weeks and a few other goals I am hoping to complete it just isn't my ideal vehicle at this point in my life.

:( NOOOOOOO!!!!!!

yeah it hurts me just saying it.....
