I know, there are only 5 pics there though :)

Looks like a nice rig. Where did it originate?

ok...seems there is some serious interest

this was built when I live in Wa state 5yrs ago. Purchased a HJ60 that was a rust bucket, but the drivetrain was quiet and tight 176,000kms..I had purchased the 1986 FJ60 the year before from a Porche machanic, in stock condition...it had 131k on it when I got the keys {WA vehicle}. The FJ had low compression (rings in this case), so rather than do a rebuild, I was in search of a good 2F or thinking of maybe a small block...just when I was about to pull the trigger on doing the V8 I came apon the HJ..So I pulled them both apart and build the FJ into a HJ....After which time the lift and turbo were installed. The Turbo was a new kit from Turbo Glide in OZ...if anyone has driven a non-turbo HJ or BJ you know there not fast enough to get out of there own way...and you never wanted to see a lighted on ramp...you would be lucky to be doing 40 merging with 70 mph traffic. HUGE differance !!! as I said above, now faster than any 2F Ive driven.
One night driving home from work I spun a lower bearing...was going to rebuild her myself..but had no time at the time..So I had the guys who build/redbuild diesels for Toyota Lift rebuild her for me..It was a complete rebuild, new crank, pistons...etc, etc...pump was inspected and given a thumbs up. Earlier this year I was having a little trouble with the 5spd (H55f) was slipping out of gear and making a little noise, so I swapped it out for a spare I had the was 4 yrs old taken from a rolled FJ. The PO purchased it new from Man-its-not free four years prior. (very quiet). The gearing is the orig. from the 86 FJ ...

Mods done:
there is a pillar gauge pod ( oil pressure & pyro)
duel grab handles (pillars)
2nd row seating is NON-us split seats (matching)...picked them up on a trip to OZ, very cool...have a 6yr old and couldnt handle loosing all the rear.
12v reducer for radio and cig (24v system)
Tuffy console w/drink holders
Non-US angle/tilt gauge
indash motorized Pioneer (touch screen) AM/FM/CD/DVD player w/remote

All work besides the engine rebuild was done by me...

This is NOT a driveway beauty..this is a go anywhere any time rig...there are some (very) small dents and paint chips, carpet is good but 25yrs old,There is no carpet 2nd row. seats have no rips little dirty, dash is uncracked, rear 5 windows are tinted.
Hope I have answered most questions
