I'm looking forward to giving these a shot...both on the truck and on the trailer.

I think a good market to reach will be the trailer guys...seems to never be ample light facing the right direction when needed. I used some Fleabay El Cheeso's on each side, and now it's time to step up the game...especially on the kitchen side.

Will report back once they are installed.....good luck on the GB.

EDIT: I tried to give this guy an honest shot to do the right thing. I contacted my credit card company to demand my money back, for lack of communication and lack of product delivery....after continuous lies, and missed deadlines.

He replied back to my dispute stating he delivered the lights...so Troy, just supply us with a tracking number and delivery proof. I know you can't....so not only does it make you a liar, but also a thief....screw you!!

Good question. I had the same thought.

CREE LED's are made in the USA (Durham, North Carolina), and Epistar are made in Taiwan.

CREE normally carries a higher price tag, but you'll be hard pressed to find any conclusive scientific data to support why one is better than the other.

I could write a thesis on the subject covering dies, semiconductors, chips, R&D, patents, etc. etc., but for these purposes, the short answer is that it's a personal preference.

I'm certain that you'll be happy with whichever you get.

Cree makes the top-of-the-line. You can expect them to be brighter for the same wattage and more consistent in color from one LED to the next. Of course you pay a little more too.
