So got the mailer for the the Father's Day car show at Sully Plantation this week. I've be doing it for 5 or so years. I think a number of club members did something in Old Town Warrenton last year. Am I remembering that correctly? I know it's early but are there plans to do that again this year?

Thinking I might head out there. Be the longest drive the 40's been on since I drove it up from Fredericksburg 10 years ago.

If you register in one of the obscure categories at the Warrenton show you are almost certain to get a medal or trophy.

I take exception to the Bob! You just disparaged my second place trophy two years ago in the import modified category. I thought it was because I had a cool 40 I plan to go and take gold this year

Go for the gold Jeff. Maybe you can enter the hybrid Jap/American short wheel base convertible pre '78 category.

Are you allowed to put a for sale sign on your junk ?

They frown on men walking around with there Junk hanging out.

For sale or not!!

I was beginning to think what some say about Warrenton was true.

What, men in Warrenton have big junk worth showing off?

I tell you what Old Fart! You enter the category for driving your wife's junk and I'll enter the category for loud, obnoxious, no matching numbers, gas guzzling, had more modifications that Katlyn Jenner category and we'll see who gets the gold. Even then it's still not fair because your son is a judge.

I'll be judging also so enter whatever category you like!

Anybody plan on doing this ? I think I will be going. Where are the details about signing up ?

I'll be there. I'm going to Stumps Saturday night. We are gonna drink some beer and get the forty's checked over for Coal Mine. Then get an early start to Warrenton. Two years ago there was no pre-registration. Just enter on arrival. The prime parking fills up real fast and real early so you can't be too early getting there. There was some talk about trying to get a club group spot. I don't know if anyone investigated if that was possible. Maybe one of the Bascom umpa lumpas can check that out?
