Fan Pull knob—what components does it control? (1 Viewer)

I have a 1979 Toyota fj40 on which I am finishing a full off-frame restoration. I rebuilt the wiring harness and have worked out all the bugs in it except for the “FAN PULL” knob. Does it connect to/control the carb fan or to the blower for the heater? Or something else?

Should be a switch on the dash for heater fan front and maybe one for heater fan rear.

The carb fan is controlled by a box and relay under the dash with input from the thermosensor on the manifold. There are no manual controls for this.

As per @charliemeyer007 when you pull out the switch, the first position is the blower motor on the pax side in the engine bay, the second position of the switch is the fan on the rear heater.
