I'm not setup for #2 but the easier option was fun last time.
I could jump in with someone for a #2 on either Fri or Sun.
I plan on camping and for any of those who are interested we should begin considering options. (we stayed at Wilgus SP last time which was pretty nice)

We'd are game for #1 on Saturday, with tentative for #2 on Sunday. Pending how the truck (FZJ80) runs on Sat., it will be its first romp since upgrades.

Looking forward to it!

Wilgus is an extra 15 miles each way from the wheeling. there are other campgrounds closer. I have a leanto on top of the hill which will sleep about 4 and room for tents too. No facilities, so it is primative. More room down by the house. We could get an outhouse if there is interest

Thanks Gary! I will plan on camping at your place Friday night and most likely Saturday too.

so......where you going to run, and when?

Saturday- Big loop, trails start in Stockbridge, down towards your parents house, down through Chataguay, The longTrail, down through Reading- generally pretty easy with a few hard options

Sunday- harder stuff, Woodstock, Bridgewater, Barnard, Reading.

Going to run a trail tonight that is supposed to be pretty hard

If anyone stays at Wilgus, give me a shout, I'd love to come down and say hi, I'll bring some fresh Harpoon Growlers. :) (it's just down the road from me, and my inlaws are the host campers).

Have fun!

Muster location and time Sat AM?

What are plans for lunch, bring with and stop in middle of no-where or stop at some little country store and buy charming sandwiches and hand crafted whoopie pies along route? We're cool with either option. Haven't had whoopie pie in very long time....

Lookin forward to it!

It looks like we will be leaving my house in Chester around 8:30, meeting Keirnan in Woodstock or Bridgewatwer about 9. We will travel north to the trailhead and be wheelin by 10. Running class 4 roads about 25 miles and ending up at The Long Trail Brewery for lunch around 1pm. After lunch, a few options depending on what the group wants, ending up on Rte 106 about 15 miles south of Woodstock

Ran different sections of these trail this past weekend. Did them in the easy direction, downhill.

I can only make one day. which day should I come down? Sounds like Saturday is going to be fun. Maybe I'll ride down Saturday with Josh. Starting out around 9?

I'm knockin' on my noggin' that I've got a co-worker covering my on-call for the weekend, or at least Saturday. I'll know more tomorrow. Back to praying to the wheeling gods.

It looks like a small group, so lets concentrate on Saturday. We can set the trails for what the group wants to do. Keirnan is coming down from Burlington and we can meet him (and Leebridge and Vtrocker) in Woodstock. If you guys like the looks of Chillwills pics, we can do that, but going up it is more fun

Lets plan on meeting in Woodstock at 9. I will firm up the meeting spot.
