Went to the Manzano Mountains Wilderness for the first time Saturday/Sunday. Beautiful area with cool trails to wheel. Great dispersed (hard for low clearance vehicles to access) camping too. Had a blast.

Didn’t see any maples on our route. Just oak and that small stand of aspens.

Dang man, you missed the best part. 4th of July Canyon is just past peak, but still gorgeous. probably the best show in New Mexico.
