I know this is $1M question - still - what should be a fair price for 04 Land Cruiser with 195k on a clock, lived in South most of its life, last 3 years in North East, was undercoated right away by current owner. Should be up to date on maintenance. I will take a look at the car tomorrow. Would appreciate your thoughts!

$10k-13k. $13k if it is mint. To be telling someone that a 14 year old SUV is still over $10k is crazy.

I wish that held true in this area. An '00 was posted here two days ago for $12,500 and was gone before my first call to the owner. I do agree that 04 in good condition should be around $10-12k with those miles +/- on if the timing belt has been done.

What area is that? Pacific Northwest West? CO? AK?

Yeah, I’m in the same area (Washington/BC) and prices are crazy here. I could probably easily get $13,000 for my ‘99 with OME and new ST Maxx tires with 215k on it.

Is there any rust underneath? The undercoat will help if they applied it before it saw any salt, but if it arrived in winter and was even driven straight to get sprayed, there may be salt that was trapped under the coating, which is potentially a disaster in the making. There is another poster looking at a similar truck in your area for $5,000, but it appears to have significant rust underneath. It’s a ‘99, but very close inmileage. Hopefully someone local to you can chime in. It sounds like it should be in the $9-10k range out there, but a clean truck in the rust belt is a wildcard.

Potential new LC 100 owner concerns

Funny you bring this up.
I just tried to purchase a near mint 2004 LX470 with 187K and extensive Lexus service records.
Wanted $10.9K, offered $11,250 out-the-door, but my offer was rejected.
So, what do you guys think is the differential price between similar LX vs LC ????
I hate those tacked on "documentation fees or dealer fees" - this one was $700.

NADA puts my 03 LC w/ ~190k at $13,150. I paid 15k with a bit over 180k miles a little over about 2.5 years ago. Depends on area though - LX470s are much easier to find here so LCs hold vaule better.
