hello,

does anybody did a rebuild for a factory LSD in a FF 9.5" rear axle diff?

What do you need to know? I have taken mine apart before I installed it in the front axle (I have a locker in the rear).

I need to know if there is a rebuild kit for it. I want to rebuild it but unless I'm sure I can find the spares I don't want to open it.

Yes .. Toyota have a " kit " or at least you can buy all the disc and some seals to rebuild it. About 250 USD here in Panamá few years ago at the local Toyota dealer ..

Here's the parts diagram from the 60 series LSD. Interesting that it only shows LSD as an option for an FJ60, but it's a parts diagram for North America. If I'm reading the other diagrams correctly, it is an LSD for a FF rear axle, so it might work for what you want. There doesn't seem to be a pre-defined parts kit, though.

Yep, that's what it looks like inside.

I'm not sure if you can fit it in a SF axle ..

It CANNOT be used on a semi floater axle as there is no way to get the "C" clips in to hold the inner axles in place. Mine is in the front axle and they are all full floaters, they CAN'T be semi floating.

thank you all for you answers. I'll check at the toyota dealer and if not, I'll buy it from somewhere.
