It is gone for good and what a POS! OK I feel better now.

I still have a couple of nutserts in the roof.
1. How do you get them off without droping them in the roof liner?
2. If you drop them in the roof liner can I leave them there or will they rattle?

Last one!
3. The 4 rail that are screwed to the roof are they in nutserts or just sheet metal screws?

Thanks all:beer:

All of them are nutserts 16 total...I left them and then Rhinolined it. Not a problem now!

What did the Rinoining cost?

I think it was around $225. A little expensive but worth it to fix the paint and have it be a definitive fix I don't have to worry about.

Sounds cheeper than a body shop with a roof repaint.
Did you do the whole roof or just behind the sunroof?

Here is what I did and what TYLER did...it was his idea so I can't take credit for it but I followed and it worked great.

That is great looking! And a much easier than a paint job!
Did you have to make a mold of some kind or did the Rhino shop do that for you?

I emailed Rhino with pics of tylers roof and they said no problem and gave me a price then I went down and they did everything else including taking off the tape from the rails and filling the holes...one stop repair!!

Looking into it!

Thanks

how do they fill the holes prior to Rhinolining?
and what's the life expectance of the stuff in sunny areas?

Damn nice both of you. Does Rhino come in white?

You can have it color matched for an extra fee...

Thanks!

I used POR-15,POR patch and top coat it has worked so far and I spent about $60 and a lot left over.I left the nuts in well 2 fell out when i used a dremel tool to remove the rust.I guess I need to post this but I still need to take th last pictures.

I would just leave them in. Its all about how much money you want to spend.

I think the best idea that I have seen a the matter is the line-x. That being said I just used 8 1/2 SS skrews and a dab of 995 black silicone. And we lift the small strips on for now.
