Header and intake work with a 79 2F in a 75 55?

Not smart enough to answer that yet, but not holding my breath on intake. Header may.
The headers in relatively good shape, in my opinion.
Pretty sure it will work. Essentially what we're doing on Boss Hog's Pig. You may have to open up the half-rounds for the larger manifold studs, the carb mount insulator with the integral heat shield won't want to work with the heat shield still in place. Either use an earlier carb insulator or cut yours off.
More ooomph & MPG? Surely you jest.
I'll take the header. Hoping to finally get my PS conversion going so might as well get it all done at once.
Thanks for the help Pigheaded. No actually I'm always looking for a little more oomph and MPG. Just hard for me to rationalize that the motor home gets better fuel mileage, at higher speeds up hills, and it will keep a case of beer cold.
