F crank pulley nut size

Does anyone know the size of socket to fit the crank pulley nut on a '72 F155 engine? I'm trying to turn it over by hand before trying to start it.

a 1-13/16" works and is easier to find...

My local NAPA guy loaned me a 1 13/16 socket that fit. Now I just have to source a 3/4" breaker bar.

I just tried the huge socket and breaker bar with a 4 foot pipe. I tightened the nut, but didn't break anything free. Am I risking snapping off the stud end by turning against the crank pulley nut? Is there another place I can access to try to break free the engine? What about pulling the clutch cover?

Oh, you're trying to break the engine free...have you done all the preparation? (solvent down the sparkplug holes, etc?)
Sure, drop the flywheel cover and put a big prybar between the teeth and pry off the bellhousing.

Yep, an ounce of Marvel Mystery oil and a good squirt of Sea Foam deep creep in each jug a week ago.

I had to stop with the lack of light and a rounded off skid plate bolt head. I'll cut it off tomorrow after AF Guard duty and get to the clutch cover then.
