It looks like my 1968 F engine has seen the end of it's useful life. I have tried to get a crank pulley on it, the pressed on type, and it just isn't going to happen.

Guess I need to start deciding on how I want to proceed. I do have a question about putting a 2F into it.

If I stick with my current 3 sp tranny/transfer case setup, will I use the current 3 sp bell housing and clutch? I just put a new clutch in last week.

Anyone in the Tucson area have a 2F for sale, really cheap?

Have you stuck your pulley in the freezer before tring to install ?

Your clutch, bell housing and linkage will bolt right up to a 2F, I baught a 2F about two years ago that came with a 3-speed tranny, clutch and t-case bolted up to it. It should be a really easy conversion except for hoisting the engine into the cruiser, that's the PITA of the whole thing.

I'll 2nd the it will fit, my 67 fj45 has a 77 2f with 3 speed(still on tree) 3 speed bellhousing and clutch.

Freezer???????
You need to put it in oven if you want it to expand over your crank shaft.
(I think that we have enough smileys now Woody. :D)

Try Tim Hill just north of you in Marana. I forget his phone number, but you should be able to find him in the book, or ask at Bill's Toy Shop.
