Are all you San Diego guys (gals) accounted for? Praying for the best for you and your families.

I could see the plume of black smoke out of my office window when it happened. A little close for comfort.

2 confirmed dead on the ground:frown:. It is really horrible and tragic for someones family but honestly when I first heard about it I expected a lot more fatalities.

Not cool. When I lived down there I worked at a company located at the northern end of UTC. Every day there would be jets flying right over head. A guy told me once that the city only let low rise office buildings be built there so that if a jet ever crashed it wouldnt be "high-density" and hopefully not too many casualties.

I never really thought about that conversation until now. Terrible way to go out.

Terrible indeed. :frown: Prayers to those killed an thier loved ones.

Thanks Scott. I so feel for that guy. I can't imagine leaving for work and having my wife and two kids as well as my home gone just like that. I can't imagine the guilt that unfortunate pilot is going through as well.

Reminds me of that guy in La Conchita who went to get donuts at the store and came home to find that landslide that obliterated his home, wife and three daughters. I don't think I would know how breathe let alone function.
